Our work
Choosing the content that’s right for you
We empowered families and young people to view the right content for them with BBFC.
THE CHALLENGE
The way parents, teens and children consume films and other content has changed significantly. As the digital landscape and consumer habits have dramatically evolved in modern times, so has the role of the British Board of Film Classification. As they launched their new Classification Guide, we needed to help people understand the important and ever-changing role of the BBFC.
THE CHANGE
We used BBFC’s updated Classification Guidelines to create a national conversation about choosing the right content. We secured 900+ pieces of coverage, with commentary exploring the angle of sexual violence, with hits across Woman’s Hour, BBC R4’s Today programme and BBC World Service. Our story was seen by over 13 million people and the hashtag #viewwhatsrightforyou reached 126,000 people in one day.
