We’ve been shortlisted for the PRCA Dare Awards!
We are delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the PRCA Dare Awards, in the category ‘Event, Launch or Stunt of the Year’.
In January, to celebrate The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) Diamond Anniversary, we supported the charity as they launched their Diamond Challenge with a bang. The challenge is a one-off initiative, encouraging people of all ages to get out of their comfort zones during 2016.
Our high-profile launch in London’s Covent Garden was crucial to kick-start momentum for the year, to broaden the charity’s reach and to encourage sign-ups. We set up a climbing wall in Covent Garden, and encouraged people to collectively climb the equivalent of Ben Nevis, and back down again in a day.
This was in-keeping with the DofE’s ethos of helping people challenge and push themselves out of their comfort zones both physically and mentally.
The launch harnessed the support of the Charity’s celebrity ambassadors, including Davina McCall, Julia Bradbury, Arlene Phillips, Matt Johnson, Jon Culshaw, to name a few, who all took to the climbing wall first.
